A/G Schools...

Kathi visits with the principal from one of the six AG Schools in Belize. She came to pick up a load of food for her school.

These are some of the precious children that attend the Central AG School in Belize City. These are children that eat everyday in the feeding program. The food Convoy of Hope sent will help these children have a good breakfast and lunch so they aren't hungry at school. Latin America ChildCare sponsorship help provide funds to keep them in school.

Thanks Convoy of Hope

We have received three incredible containers from Convoy of Hope in the past two weeks! One container was food for the feeding programs at the Assembly of God Schools in Belize and the other two were containers with books and teachers aides. We have plenty for each of the AG schools and then we will give some to the poorest government schools. Thank you Convoy of Hope for this incredible help for our children. Latin America ChildCare thanks you as well for helping feed hungry children in our schools.

Thanks so much. We can see!

There are a number of children at the Central Assembly School that can see SO much better now thanks to a team of ladies from Illinois and Focus Optical in Aurora, IL. After doing eye exams there were children that really needed glasses to read. thanks to two team members, Jeanne and Amy that worked all week to do eye exams not only for students but for many other people off the streets, a LOT of people in Belize see much better now.

One child had tears in his eyes because he knew him mom could never provide the glasses he needed. SeveralpPastors have told us they can read so much easier now after receiving reading glasses. As you can see in the pictures, the children were SO EXCITED the day we delivered the glasses. Thanks to everyone that was part of this project!

Yo Creek Church...

Last night we had a great time in a small village called Yo Creek with pastor Carlos Cartegena. We had a special service for children and set up a large screen and showed two Spanish cartoons. There were over 30 children that attended. We had a wonderful time with them. On the way back from the village we got to see a fat python that was killed on the road. Of course Tom did
stop and inspect it.
